VX21 has multiple bonded layers. The face fabric is fully DWR treated. A rigid high strength reinforcement grid is bonded to a waterproof membrane. VX 21 also has a 50D a liner fabric that will happily catch your well-aimed stitch.
These fabrics are significantly lighter, hold their shape better, and are much more water resistant than any of our classic fabrics.
