DuPont™ Tyvek Home Wrap ® is very fine polyethylene fibres (seven times finer than a human hair) bonded by heat and pressure to create a substrate that isn’t paper, fabric, or film, but combines the best properties of all three.
This versatile and long lasting solution will add just over 200g to your pack weight. Some people prefer to “wash” their Tyvek Groundsheet in a bathtub of cold water before use to soften the fabric. Of course – most never bother and simply allow the product to age disgracefully over many years of use.
This classic 2 person size is easily trimmed to suits most setups.
