Tyvek Groundsheet
DuPont™ Tyvek Home Wrap ® is very fine polyethylene fibres (seven times finer than a human hair) bonded by heat and pressure to create a substrate that isn’t paper, fabric, or film, but combines the best properties of all three.
This versatile and long lasting solution will add just over 200g to your pack weight – and protect you (and your expensive sleep system) from the elements.
Some folks prefer to “wash” their Tyvek Groundsheet in a bathtub of cold water before use to soften the fabric. Of course – most never bother and simply allow the product to age disgracefully over many years of use.
This classic 2 person size is easily trimmed to suits most setups. Please contact us if you need a larger custom size, we can cut to almost any length up to 3050 wide!
