Laminated construction: 400D woven Polyester face, 45° Blue CrossPly, 70D ripstop backing.
The 400D recycled polyester face has almost twice the abrasion resistance compared to 420D nylon. Well suited for pack bases, or build in this fabric alone for overall durability.
Challenge Outdoor ECOPAK™ is the world’s only durable and waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fibre and film. Every metre recycles about 20 plastic water bottles into this beautiful technical laminate.
Completely waterproof (tested to more than 200 PSI). Rigidity and strength from the CrossPly reinforcing grid set at 45° (you can cut panels in either direction – more flexibility to cut plans). 70D ripstop backing fabric has improved tear resistance, better stitch holding and gives the interior of your work a bright clean look.
Makers often prefer the easier handling and softer hand feel of this laminate. ECOPAK lays flat on your table with less of the curl experienced with other laminates.
